In the last 12 months Whitham Mills have been involved in a number of innovative and operationally transformational projects:
Tesco
Whitham Mills supplied 27x waste handling units that have reduced Tesco’s cycle times from over 5 minutes to under 2 minutes. Operator time savings and waste disposal cost savings are set to see a return on investment of under 6 months.
RDF Balers
Whitham Mills have supplied 7x RDF baling systems to the likes of HW Martin, Bagnall & Morris, JBT Waste and Veolia. Whether providing a dedicated RDF baling system or retrofitting an existing baling system, Whitham Mills are able to with clients to find the right solution.
Mid Devon District Council
Whitham Mills achieved a 100% tender score for the non-price element of new a mini-MRF to be put into Mid Devon District Council. Separating paper, plastics, card, aluminium and steel, the mini-MRF with 3x balers has been designed and manufactured here at Whitham Mills by British engineers. The balers are a combination of Whitham Mills’ refurbished balers and a brand new fully-automatic Godswill baler.
