Morgan is a Welsh stand-up comedian, writer, presenter and actor based in Cardiff. He has appeared on shows such as Mock the Week and The News Quiz.

The awards look to recognise the hard work of local authority recycling teams, individuals and partnerships. Cathy Cook, chair of LARAC, opened the ceremony with a warm welcome to the Birmingham Hilton Metropole hotel. Cook has been the chair of LARAC since January 2022.

LARAC’s executive director, Carole Taylor, will retire at the end of this month after over 22 years with the advisory committee. Her service has been honoured with an “outstanding contribution” award. Taylor will be replaced Toni McNamara.
