Recycling.co.uk , specialises in the recycling of vehicles and scrap metals, has launched its Salvage Autos business which offers cars, vans and motorbikes that have been stolen and legally recovered at under the usual market prices.
The vehicles offered range from virtually brand new, through a wide choice of standard makes and models, to older classics and collectables. Most of the stock was purchased through insurance companies, fleet operators, accident management companies and independent engineers.
As part of the launch Salvage Autos will be supported by a new website which visitors can browse through by section. It is possible to view by categories such as damaged and undamaged or by vehicle type, car or bike. Each vehicle appears with photographs and details.
Autobreakers
Salvage Autos is the latest development of Recycling.co.uk's Autobreakers business which involves the sale of car parts.
Alasdair Jackson, commercial manager for Autobreakers, said: “The main Autobreakers business gives us an excellent model for the launch of Salvage Autos. The two stands of the business fit together extremely well and we know from experience that people are very happy to use a website search for items they require.
“With Autobreakers, that might be anything from a new headlamp to a complete engine. With Salvage Autos, we're going that one step further and giving people the chance to buy a complete vehicle,” he added.
