With more than 40 years’ experience in providing site-based landfill gas engine maintenance, Enovert Group said the acquisition of ABC Power Solutions will strengthen the group’s ability to provide a complete range of landfill gas services.
All of ABC Power Solution’s senior management team and staff are to be retained, Enovert said. And, the business will continue to operate as ABC Power Solutions Limited.
The recently completed deal means that Enovert will be broadening its activities and be able to provide services to landfill operators across the UK.
ABC supply gas engine parts for Jenbacher, Deutz, Caterpillar and Allens engines from its parts stores, assembly and machine shop facilities in Gorleston, Norfolk. The company also provides complete engine and engine component overhauls and site-based landfill gas engine maintenance services for key landfill gas generation customers.
Reputation

”The acquisition will strengthen and complement the Enovert Group’s existing range of specialist landfill, landfill gas and waste sector services, and will enable Enovert to provide the complete range of landfill gas services, from design and installation of gas fields and gas utilisation plants, through to supporting the operation, maintenance, and overhaul of engines across the UK.”

The sale process was implemented and manged by the mergers and acquisitions team of Norwich-based accountants Larking Gowen, acting on behalf of ABC Power Solutions Limited, supported by law firm Leathes Prior, also of Norwich. Enovert was represented throughout the process by Leeds-based law firm Walker Morris.
Landfill
Enovert explains that its primary operations include managing the safe and efficient disposal of waste via landfill and restoring landfill sites at the end of their operational period.
The group has six operational landfill sites, eight large scale landfill restoration schemes, two composting facilities and three waste transfer Enovert manages in excess of 2.0 million tonnes of waste each year.
Enovert also supports local communities through the Government’s Landfill Communities Fund by distributing money to community improvement schemes through the Enovert Community Trust.
