With appointments at Advetec, Too Good To Go, Reconomy and Altilium.  


Advetec appoints customer success director  

Advetec has announced that it has appointed Will Garrard in its new customer success director role.

The appointment comes as the biotechnology business said it is trying to “strengthen client relationships”.  

Garrard comes from sustainable energy system developer KEW Technology where he was operations director. He has worked across both Europe and the Americas.  

Hi work includes a collaboration with many waste management companies including Coastal Recycling, Go 4 Greener, JWitt Waste Recycling and Max Recycle. 

CEO of Advetec, Lee Knott, said: “Will is a huge advocate for value and quality as defined by the customer, and he recognises the need to put the customer firmly at the core of everything we do. He shares our commitment to nurture relationships and add value as customers’ needs evolve, and we’re delighted to welcome him to our team.” 


Sid Baveja joins Too Good To Go in operations role 

Too Good To Go has announced that Sid Baveja is its new vice president of operations for Central Europe, the UK and Ireland.

This includes its outlets in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Poland and Czechia.  

Baveja has 15 years of experience in technology companies including Just Eat and viagogo.

It’s certainly been an exciting few months, with the launch of Too Good To Go Parcels in the UK, helping brands like Tony’s Chocolonely and Kraft Heinz avoid food waste while offering unique products to our users.  

“Additionally, our Look-Smell-Taste initiative in Ireland has gained support from iconic brands such as Guinness Food Products and Kellogg’s. I’m thrilled about what we’ve accomplished so far and look forward to more success ahead!” 


Jenny Dodsworth appointed to Reconomy 

Jenny Dodsworth has been made group programme and delivery directory at circular economy specialist Reconomy.

Dodsworth has a background in organisational change projects at FTSE 100 companies across multiple sectors. Her previous work includes Virgin Atlantic, Argos and Merlin Entertainments.  

In her new role she will report into chief information officer Jody Fullman.

“In less than a year, Jody and his team have established a world-class technology scaling centre that will enable us to deliver on our strategic priorities and provide circular economy led solutions to our customers, helping them unlock commercial opportunities and deliver cost efficiencies.  

“I look forward to seeing Jenny make an invaluable contribution to our technology and growth agendas.” 

The appointment was accompanied by a commitment by the brand to invest over £10 million in capital within 2025 to accelerate its product development. 


Tony Harper to join Altilium board 

Technology group Altilium has appointed Tony Harper as its board advisor for partnerships and advocacy.

Harper has a background in the automotive industry and was most recently director of the Faraday Battery Challenge – a £610 million research and innovation programme for the battery sector.  

He has also worked at UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) and Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), the latter of which he joined in 1986 as a graduate engineer. 

Harper commented: “This is an exciting time to be joining Altilium. Their mission to build a circular economy for electric vehicle (EV) batteries, securing resilience, prosperity and growth as we drive toward a more sustainable future, is absolutely critical.  

“It is vital that we scale and secure this capability in the UK. Atilium have the right technology, the right team and I look forward to doing whatever I can to help them deliver.”
