The professional cleaning sector employs millions of people across Europe and plays a vital role in health, wellbeing, image and perception. However until now there has not been a pan-European awards programme recognising and rewarding standards of excellence in all areas, and at all levels.
Despite the industry often having a poor image in the eyes of the world at large, there is such outstanding work taking place in terms of employee policy, client relationships, sustainability, innovation and driving up standards.
As the only pan-European publication serving the cleaning sector, European Cleaning Journal (ECJ) has as its main objective the promotion of the highest in professional standards and the recognition of our industry’s expertise in fulfilling such essential needs – in the pages of the magazine, throughout its website, and now by acknowledging and honouring the industry’s phenomenal work at the European Cleaning & Hygiene Awards.
