Ceremony reveals winners of 2024 Awards for Excellence

The 2024 Awards for Excellence in Recycling and Waste Management celebrated its 21st birthday yesterday (16 May), with a range of companies, local authorities and individuals all recognised.

The Awards encompassed the return of television presenter Mark Durden-Smith, at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel, London.

Re-Gen Waste was named as the Recycling Business of the Year, PropUp Project won the ‘Circular Economy Success’ award. A full list of the 20 categories can be seen below.

Clare Delaney, deputy director for resources and waste in the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, delivered an informative keynote speech, providing valuable updates on Defra’s priorities when it comes to the recycling and waste sector.
