The ESS Expo will take place on 13-14 September 2023 at Birmingham’s NEC and will bring together the RWM & Letsrecycle Live show alongside Contamination & Land Remediation Expo and the Flood & Water Management Expo.
The Energy, Fuels & Decarbonisation Expo will also be taking place on the same day, making the ESS Expo a truly unmissable event for the entire sector.
Addressing a broad spectrum of environmental themes such as net-zero targets, resource management, circular economy, biodiversity conservation, and water scarcity, the Expo will also aim to acknowledge the escalating threat of natural disasters like floods and droughts.
Survey
To mark the launch of the event, a survey has been launched which is open to all professionals whose work is directly involved in, or connected to, the environment.
The survey forms a key feature of the event and “signifies an ambitious effort to understand and address the most pressing environmental concerns at a national scale”.
The survey’s findings will guide the conversation at the ESS Expo and help devise practical, effective solutions.
Event
The event will feature an array of speakers addressing the key themes across the sectors. Sector-specific topics will be discussed in-depth as well as a wider range of environmental topics including net-zero targets, resource management and biodiversity conservation.
The Expo hopes to create an opportunity for the exchange of ideas and solutions as well as spark innovation to help achieve the UK Government’s environmental targets, such as net zero by 2050.
Amongst those set to headline the event are Blue Planet II’s executive producer, the Financial Times’ Simon Mundy, Toast Ale’s founder Tristram Stuart, environmental activist Natalie Fee, and Starbucks EMEA president Duncan Moir.
